How We Protect Your Data and Account

We handle every piece of account and payment data with documented internal controls.

Data Collection Scope

We collect your name, contact details, payment identifiers from UPI, Paytm or PhonePe, and session logs. Nothing beyond what is necessary to run your account and comply with applicable Indian regulations is stored.

Cookie Consent Control

On your first visit a consent banner lets you accept, reject or customise non-essential cookies. Your choice is saved for 12 months and can be changed at any time through the privacy settings in your account.

Account Security Practices

We enforce two-factor authentication at login and encrypt stored credentials. Suspicious login attempts trigger an automatic lock and an alert to your registered email before any session is permitted to continue.

Retention and Deletion

Transaction records linked to UPI, Paytm and PhonePe payments are retained for the period required by Indian financial regulations. After that window closes, records are deleted from our live systems within 30 days.

Requesting Changes to Your Record

To correct inaccurate personal data, log in, open Account Settings, and use the Edit Profile form. If the field is locked because of a pending verification, email [email protected] with supporting documents and we update it within seven days.

Access depends entirely on the laws of your state or territory. We do not restrict access beyond what local law requires, but it is your responsibility to verify that using our platform is lawful in your specific location before opening an account.

We collect identity details, contact information, device session data and payment identifiers tied to UPI, Paytm or PhonePe. This data is used solely to verify your identity, process transactions and secure your account per our privacy policy.

Email [email protected] with the subject line 'Data Access Request' from your registered address. We acknowledge within 48 hours and provide a structured export of your personal data within 30 days of receiving your verified request.

Yes. You may request erasure of your personal data by contacting [email protected]. We will erase data not subject to a legal retention obligation within 30 days and confirm deletion in writing to your registered email address.

Log the dispute via live chat or at [email protected] with your account ID and the relevant transaction reference. Our team reviews disputes within three business days and, where a payment via UPI or PhonePe is involved, coordinates with the payment provider directly.

We email your registered address at least seven days before any material change takes effect, with a summary of what is changing and why. The revised terms are also posted at bigticket.asia/legal/ and dated so you can track each version.

Submit a closure request through Account Settings or by emailing [email protected]. We process closures within five business days, clear any pending balance to your verified UPI or Paytm account, and confirm closure in writing.
